Our mission is to: Maintain an archive of documentary materials concerning all facets of the history of The United Methodist Church.
? Serve as the official repository of materials produced by the agencies, boards, commissions, committees, local churches and general officers of The South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.
? Collect and preserve historical artifacts related to the United Methodist Church.
? Operate a Museum that interprets, through exhibits, tours and educational programs the early history of Methodism in America, particularly as it relates to John Wesley, the history of the South Georgia Conference and the history of the island history and of Epworth by the Sea.

Ft Frederica Nat'l Monument is operatedby the National Park Service. Site features archeological ruins and interprets the pre-Revoutionary War Era.

St. Simons Island Lighthouse Museum

Saint Simons Island, Georgia

History

The museum consists of an 1872 brick lighthouse and keeper's dwelling, 1890 oil house and Victorian gazebo which contain exhibits on the history of the lighthouse and also depict the way of life for a turn-of-the-century keeper.

Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association is the coordinating Arts Council for the City of Brunswick and Glynn county. The Ritz Theatre Gallery hosts a variety of local and regional artists throughout the year.
